Yeast Infection Symptoms

Yeast infection symptoms can often be mistaken for other diseases and many women may ignore the symptoms all together. It is vital to understand exactly which is a classic yeast infection symptom and which may signal other problems.

The main symptoms of yeast infection will be explored, as well as touching on other aspects such as causes, prevention, and treatment.

Candida Albicans is the agent that is responsible for causing yeast infections. It can spread rapidly, if left untreated. Some of the causes that have been identified are: being on antibiotic therapy, using steroids, being pregnant, and the use of some perfumes and douche products. Even wearing tight fitting clothing and wet clothing can contribute to the growth of Candida, as it loves a wet and warm medium to multiplicate in.
