Do you have cancer? Do you know that chemotherapy is one of the common treatments of cancer? Do you also know that when you have chemotherapy treatments, you do not come out healthier, and in most areas you will come out in worse condition than before you began chemo?

Chemotherapy actually destroys your vital organs and affects the way they function. This includes your liver, kidneys, heart and more. When your doctor advises you, he or she will give you an estimate of how many months you have to live. Your doctor will tell you that you need to seek treatment. This can be one of the most frightening things you will ever go through.

Your instincts will tell you to listen to everything your doctor tells you. But you need to seek a second opinion if he says chemotherapy. Natural treatments work very well. Experts who specialize in natural treatments will concentrate on healing not only your body, but your mind as well.

A natural treatment specialist (if he or she is a good one) will never approach you by telling you that you only have so much time to live. They will support and encourage you in your treatment, and celebrate your success.

Any doctor who sets limits on your life isn’t wise. Many patients were told by their doctors that they will only live a few months, or that they will never walk again. Many of those same patients proved those doctors wrong.

Just because he or she has an MD after their name doesn’t mean they know everything. Know your options. You may be surprised to find out how effective natural cancer treatments are when you learn more about them!

Don’t limit yourself and close your eyes to knowledge out of fear. Don’t let a doctor limit your life and expose you to poisons that can kill you.

My name is Greg Ryan. I am a fitness expert, professional bodybuilder, personal, trainer to movie stars, former employee of Kathy Smith and over 50,000 hours of paid personal training sessions under my belt. For the last twenty years I have been able to continually make progress, stay consistent and have some fun in my quest to be in better shape. One very important technique you need to learn is how to monitor your heart rate. I have been able to keep my body fat low for years because I am efficient not because I know it all. Here is what I mean:

Low Body Fat Technique #3: The Shock Affect

People quit exercise programs for two reasons: boredom and lack of results. Let?s
look at one way of curbing both reasons for not following through on an exercise
program and how to keep your body fat levels low.

Ever drive the same way to work each morning? Ever order basically the same foods
every time you eat out? Ever sit in the same area at the movie theatre? Humans are
creatures of habit. Our exercise programs are treated no differently. One simple
solution to low body fat levels is incorporating variety into your daily workouts.

You see I believe your body after about two months on the same program gets so
use to the order of exercises, the level of effort of the treadmill and the type of
equipment you use that it adapts. Similar to what your body dies when taking
antibiotics.

So what do you do? It does not have to be some huge change in your workout
program. Here are ten suggestions:

1. Change the order of your weight training exercises, keeping the larger muscle
groups first.

2. Never do the same cardio piece of equipment two days in a row.

3. Alternate your intensity levels of your workouts each time.

4. Alternate your rep ranges each time.

5. Do weights before cardiovascular training every so often.

6. Workout at different times of the day.

7. Listen to different music once on a while.

8. Change the accessories of the equipment once in a while ? Handles

9. Change workout places on occasion.

10. Change your program up every ten weeks.

No matter what it is your body gets use to the routine. Change it up and change
your body fats.

The majority of teas that are purchased today are blends. This is due to the fact that truly pure teas are never duplicated. A fine black tea will taste differently due to variances in where the tea is grown and the time of year that it is harvested.

There are two main reasons in creating premium tea blends. The first reason is just an attempt to secure invariable quality of a certain tea. Then tea blend will be optimized by prime cost and become a mixture of a small amount of good tea with a greater amount of second-rate tea. The second reason for tea blends is the creation of new tastes.

The tea plant, Camellia Sinensis, is usually referred to both China, and parts of India. Wild tea plants can grow more that 90 feet. In the past they trained monkeys to pick the leaves and throw them down, where they were collected. Today plants are kept to a height of about three feet for easy picking and cultivated as a plantation crop. All premium tea blends are then stored in airtight containers out of direct sunlight, so that they do not loose their flavor or take on foreign aromas.

In addition to being warming and having a great taste, tea is very beneficial to your health. Over 25 different countries produce tea, the key players including China, Nepal, India, Japan and Sri Lanka. Thus there are at least 2000 varieties of tea.

The three main categories of tea are: Black, Green, and Oolong, each with its own varieties. Black and Green teas originate from the same tea plant, but are being processed differently. Black tea is oxidized for several hours before drying. And Green tea is steamed immediately after picking. Oolong (green/black) tea is also partially fermented to preserve some of the delicate flavor of the black tea. Green Tea has long been known as a health tonic, elixir, and satisfying beverage. Many scientific researches today have proved that fact.

During the Tang Dynasty in China, which lasted from 6816 to 906 B.C., tea transformed into the nationally acclaimed beverage. Tea delivery prior to those times was a very lengthy and arduous process, since the Suez Canal had not yet been opened. Receiving tea all the way from Europe, whether by ocean or land delivery, took months and usually meant weak tea that had suffered loss of quality. When sent by boat, tea was called “Canton” tea, and tea delivered by land was called “Caravan” tea. Caravan tea was usually favored because of its better quality.

Today tea has become a large industry. Besides the premium tea blends, you can buy many related products and even gift kits that would be truly appreciated by your family, friends, and colleagues. For example: themed tea gift baskets, Tea and chocolate, tea chests, teapots, Christmas gift baskets, gift baskets with/without teapots, mugs and so on. Just get online and read some of the tea blends reviews.

Today tea has become a large industry. Since most completely pure teas are never the same, almost all teas available today are blends. A fine black tea plucked on a certain date from a particular estate or region will vary from year to year. All premium tea blends are stored out of the sunlight in an air tight environment to maintain the integrity and flavor of the tea leaf. –I’ve heard people talk about Ginseng, but I’m not sure what it is.

Nothing like starting from the beginning.

a characterization of Ginseng is its medicinal properties. Ginseng is an Oriental herb classified under the genus of five or six species of perennial plants that grow slowly. Belonging to the Araliaceae plant family, Ginseng has fleshy roots. Using today’s technology, ginseng has been made available in herbal medicine shops and is popular for treating many health problems.

–How can ginseng help me?

To those in the field of alternative medicine, it is well-known that ginseng is beneficial to a person’s health. Even so, it is not easy to prove such a claim scientifically. So, what is it in ginseng that makes herb doctors and alternative medicine doctors speak of its medicinal properties? Ginseng is considered to be an adaptogen. Basically, what this means is that while it increases resistance to stress, it has no harmful effects to the body. It is because of this that many people take a ginseng supplement to help their overall health.

–I understand there are different kinds of ginseng. What are they?

Different kinds of ginseng cure different kinds of health problems. Some forms of ginseng are taken to help cure cancer. The most common kinds of ginseng include Panax Ginseng, Chinese Ginseng and Korean Ginseng. Each one has unique features and healing properties.

Panax Ginseng is also known as Korean Ginseng. This deciduous perennial is a plant with roots that are cultivated for 4-6 years before reaching maturity. Ginseng Panax is the most well-known type of ginseng. This is commonly used as an anti-aging herb by most of the people of China and Korea. Panax Ginseng is a popular herb today because it has fewer side effects and no toxic effects.

Not as common as Panax Ginseng is Wild Ginseng. It is not planted or cultivated domestically but can be found almost anywhere since it grows naturally. However, the availability of wild ginseng is decreasing as it is already becoming endangered.

–Should I consider one form of ginseng over another?

Yes, the form of ginseng you use can make a difference. Standardized extracts and solid forms of ginseng have been proven more effective. They also provide more reliable effects than the other formulations. Here’s a great post on the effects of ginseng comparing two different types - Panax Ginseng and Siberian Ginseng.

–Is ginseng expensive?

There’s no cut and dry answer for this since prices can vary. It will depend on the kind and form of ginseng your pharmacist recommends. Types of ginseng range from 10 to 100 dollars or higher.

There are also ginseng roots that are sold for low prices, but the highest grade will reach as high as $10,000 per root. There are other things that may effect the price. Harvesting and cultivating can also effect the price. Of course, demand for a certain kind of ginseng will also raise the price.

–What is the best way to take ginseng?

Personal preference and lifestyle are really the key factors here. Here are some guidelines. Ginseng in capsules should be taken an hour prior to bedtime. Some people enjoy sipping tea. Tea is another good alternative. However, one should never take all the forms like tablets, teas and tinctures at the same time. This could cause an overdose of ginseng.

–Should I take ginseng with food?

From culture to culture, how ginseng is used may differ. It is interesting to note that no specific restrictions have been placed on ginseng in terms of food, beverages or any other specific activity a person can do while taking any form of ginseng. Even so, it is a good idea to involve your health care provider in your combination of any kind of medicines and herbal remedies.

–What are the best practices for storing ginseng?

Most ginseng will have storage directions on the package. Generally, ginseng should be protected from too much light and moisture so that it does not lose its effectiveness. So, store in in a dark, dry place.
